Finding Awe in a Changing World.

The last few hours have felt unsettled — the brutal death of Charlie Kirk a reminder of just how harsh and unpredictable life can be.

Every day, the media presents us with a storm of forces reshaping our world: political conflicts, climate crises, natural disasters, medical struggles, and relentless waves of new technology. Brutality has become a daily accepted act. Heavy, stressful, and unrelenting.

At my age, I know I cannot carry the weight of it all — and truthfully, I don’t want to.

For the first time, I own my time. I carry the luxury of freedom. I can choose how to respond. Yes, perhaps it is selfish — but I choose awe!

I choose to hold on to what amazes me. Not always conventionally beautiful, but unforgettable. Those moments that stop you in your tracks and whisper: this is why life is worth living.

I love words — words that become brushstrokes, finishing a picture. My blogs are not instant-gratification vlogs; they are painted journeys. I’m not here to do flashy YouTube edits or chase likes. I want to share something slower, deeper — for people who carry the same values, who seek meaning rather than noise. If you’re one of them, you’ll find yourself at home here. And when my words fall short, my photos step in, telling the stories my alphabet cannot.

Soon, I’ll be chasing those moments in Egypt. Nearly a month where my camera will burn with stories:

This dream of Egypt, though, is not mine alone. It is possible because of Esther Murray. Her trust, her adventurous spirit, and her courage opened the way for this journey. I carry deep gratitude with me, knowing that every step, every story, and every photograph is touched by her presence.

  • The Pyramids, the Nile, the temples of Luxor.
  • Nubian corners alive with rhythm, light, and a splash of colour.
  • The haunting beauty of the Black and White Deserts — black rock and ghost-like chalk towers rising out of the red sands.
  • Even the long nine-hour road to Siwa Oasis, into silence, palms, and endless horizons.

This story is not just mine — it’s ours. I leave on 22 October.

✈️ Your travel date? Come along. Not just to the famous wonders, but to Egypt’s hidden corners.

My camera will be burning, and I promise to bring back moments that amaze. See you there!
